Rooted in Kannauj’s Perfumery Tradition
Our work is deeply informed by the perfumery heritage of Kannauj, one of India’s most historic fragrance-making centres. Here, traditional attar making has long been practiced through the degbhapka method a slow distillation process in which flowers, herbs, spices, woods, and botanicals are distilled with patience in copper vessels, allowing aroma to unfold gradually and naturally. This technique is not simply a method of extraction. It is a way of working that values rhythm, intuition, seasonality, and the material itself. That spirit continues to guide us.
